Hello, fellow curious human.
If you’ve followed a few of these rabbit holes, you probably have a decent idea of what I find interesting.
What you may not know yet is where some of those questions lead when I have a little more room to think them through.
I've been collecting unusual ideas for a long time.
Some are tremendously practical.
Others are a little mystical.
Some seem to have nothing whatsoever to do with each other… until suddenly they do.
Those connections are my favorite.
And every now and then, I like to write about them.
Not because I’ve reached the end of the learning. Because the interesting part usually starts when a good idea runs into real life.
Stories. Essays. Letters. An interesting old teacher. A modern marketing idea. A little adventure in figuring out how to enjoy being alive while we're here.
Perhaps something makes you laugh.
Perhaps something makes you think.
Perhaps you decide I'm completely full of it.
Entirely possible.
You're welcome to disagree. In fact, I hope you do your own thinking.
Come for the curiosity. Stay if you're having fun.
And if you’d like the letters sent your way, I’d be delighted to have you along.
The public stories are a place to wander. The letters are where we can follow a thought a little further.
If not?
Well, we're cool either way.

Subject: Why I might owe an old fence an apology
I spent a long time dreaming of an income that would mean I never had to build another fence for a client again.
Then I noticed something funny.
I still rather liked building fences.
The part I wanted to be rid of was something else entirely…
That's the kind of unexpected connection I enjoy. The actual letters should always deliver more than the subject line promises.
